Today, Dr. Sutanu Kumar Patra, learned advocate representing the Commission submits that though it was submitted on 7th August, 2024 that the transfer application of the petitioner was forwarded to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education for issuance of transfer order but subsequently he has been instructed by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission that till date final decision has not been taken on the transfer application of the petitioner though the Commission received the transfer application through Portal on 30th April, 2022. Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the Commission and taking note of the document

which is at page 54 of the writ petition wherefrom it appears that the transfer application of the petitioner reached the office of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission on 30th April, 2024, the Chairman, West Bengal Central School Service commission being respondent no. 4 is directed to decide the transfer application of the petitioner in accordance with law by 4 (four) weeks from the date of communication of this order and the decision to be taken by the respondent no. 4 shall be communicated to the petitioner by 1 (one) week thereafter.

It is made clear that transfer application of the petitioner shall not be rejected on the ground of suspension of Utsashree Portal.

Writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
