The prayer of the petitioner that the District Magistrate, North 24-Parganas should take steps against the neighbouring cold storage, is misconceived.

Learned State Advocate files the police report which indicates that the police authorities acted on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner and had taken steps vide Amdanga P.S. N.C.R. No.329/24 dated August 5, 2024 under Section 126 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.

The petitioner is at liberty to approach the police authorities with the allegations. The petitioner is at liberty to pray for injunction in the suit. The petitioner is at liberty to proceed in accordance with the criminal laws and civil laws in respect of all the allegations made.

This Court has not expressed any view on the allegations.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
