Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner had lodged an FIR being Beniapukur Police Station Case No.310 of 2022 dated 18.07.2022 under Sections 448, 341, 323, 379 and 34 of the Penal Code against his own son, daughter in law and others. She now wants that the investigation should be concluded expeditiously.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the private respondents submits as follows. The allegations made in the writ petition are denied. After filing the FIR, the petitioner also filed a civil suit for eviction. There is also an order of this Court

passed in this regard on 31.10.2022 in WPA 17268 of 2022. All these have not been pleaded in the writ petition. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits that a charge sheet has already been submitted on the FIR lodged by the petitioner being Charge Sheet No.38 of 2023.

Since the petitioner's prime grievance about police inaction in investigating the alleged offences has been redressed, no further order need be passed in this regard. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of without any costs.
