The petitioner is aggrieved that certain part of his salary has been wrongfully deducted on the ground of unlawful absence from work.

Mr. Ray appearing for the petitioner has placed several documents to establish that the dates on which the petitioner was absent could not have been construed as illegal or unlawful leave under any circumstances.

Mr. Prasad appearing for the school authority is willing to refund the payment which was deducted, not due to any mala fides, but on account of erroneous entries which had been made in the service book. 4.

In view of the aforestated stand taken by the school, let the school issue the refund payment of Rs.5,238/- along with a consolidated sum of Rs.2,500/- on account of interest by June 30, 2026. The petitioner will render all cooperation to the school

authorities to avail the refund and the interest thereon and to enable the school authority to rectify and correct the erroneous entries made in the service book. 5.

With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 7.
