The petitioner sought for financial assistance for conducting treatment of his wife who was suffering from blood cancer. The petitioner refers to an Umbrella Scheme of Rashtriya Arogya Nidhi of the Government of India.

Allegation is that Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute did not forward the application of the petitioner to the competent authority.

It appears from the submission made on behalf of the petitioner that his wife expired in August 2024. The petitioner submits that enough money was expended for her treatment. The petitioner has a minor daughter and does not have the financial condition to admit her in a school for continuing her education.

Prayer has been made to direct the authority to take the responsibility for providing education to the daughter of the petitioner.

It appears that the matter relates to the Umbrella

Scheme of the Government of India for Rashtriya Arogyo Nidhi. The concerned patient has expired. At this stage, no relief under the said Scheme can be provided to the petitioner.

The petitioner may approach the necessary authority for the education of his daughter.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
