The petitioner claims that the private respondent is disturbing peaceful possession of his land. The petitioner complained to the Purbasthali Police Station.

Counsel for the State submits that there is a land dispute between the petitioner and the private respondent.

This Court is of the view that the dispute between the petitioner and the private respondent is purely civil in nature. Appropriate civil proceedings may be taken out by the petitioner in this regard.

The Purbasthali Police Station shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

The writ petition is disposed of.

6.

There will be no order as to costs.

7.
