Earlier, the petitioners submitted before this Court that there has been amicable settlement in connection with Katwa P.S. Case No. 150/2019 (G.R. Case No. 239 of 2019) under Sections 498A/323/34 of the IPC.

The report so submitted enclosed a statement and a declaration of the o.p. no2, namely, Trishna Dutta. I have perused the contents of the same and I find that the lady has commented regarding the mutual divorce. The amicable settlement having been taken place between the parties and as the lady do not intend to pursue with the criminal case, consequently, all further proceedings

of Katwa P.S. Case No. 150 of 2019 dated 01.4.2019 including the charge-sheet filed therein, which was initiated as a result of matrimonial discord and is pending before the Ld. ACJM, Katwa, is hereby quashed.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 3310 of 2023 is allowed.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. The report so submitted be kept with the record. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta.
