It appears from the report that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner before the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal on February 27, 2025, enquiry was held by the Cyber Police Station, Kolkata. It was found that the matter was being dealt with by Netaji Nagar Police Station with the assistance of Cyber Cell, South Suburban Division. The complaint was forwarded to Netaji Nagar Police Station, South Suburban Division for necessary action. Investigation is in progress.

In view of the above, the Investigating Officer is directed to conduct the investigation in a fair and unbiased manner with the assistance of the Cyber Cell,

South Suburban Division and take the same to its logical conclusion, in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
