CRR No. 3690 of 2024 In Re: Rupchand Santra Mr. Suvadip Bhattacharjee .... For the Petitioner Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of Sessions Case no. 16 of 2021 pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 2nd Court, Arambagh, Hooghly, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite parties. The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case.

This Court is informed that charge was framed on 15th September, 2021 and out of 14 witnesses one witness has been examined.

In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible, preferably within two years from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The revisional application being CRR 3690 of 2024 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
