The petitioner alleges that the petitioner has been dispossessed from his property by the private respondents in violation of the order of status quo passed by the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 2nd Court at Baruipur in Title Suit No. 170 of 2021. The learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was in possession of the property-inquestion when the order of status quo was passed.

The learned Civil Judge by an order dated March 31, 2021 directed the plaintiff and the defendants, that is, the petitioner and the private respondents herein to maintain status quo as regards nature, character and possession in respect of the disputed property.

Since the petitioner alleges that he has been dispossessed from his property, which is the subject matter of a civil suit, in violation of an order of injunction, the petitioner is left free to approach the civil court for appropriate reliefs in accordance with law.

Needless to mention that the Officer-inCharge of the local police station shall ensure that no breach of peace takes place at the locale. The learned Advocate appearing for the State files a report of the Inspector-in-Charge of Kultali Police Station, Baruipur Police District, dated October 1, 2024, which is taken on record. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
