The writ petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Bhadreswar Police Station to enquire into FIR No. 99 of 2021 dated 17.03.2021.

Mr. Subhabrata Dutta, learned counsel for the State submits that charge sheet has been submitted on 30th June, 2022.

Let a copy of the instructions be given to the counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner may take steps in accordance with law since he has been informed of the final report only today.

Insofar as the threat to the petitioner's life is concerned, the petitioner may apply before the

Commissioner of Police, Chandannagar Police Commissionerate, who shall consider the same in accordance with law and take necessary steps. Let a decision be taken by the Commissioner of Police, Chandannagar Police Commissionerate within a period of one week of receipt of the copy of the petitioner's representation.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
