Banerjee Mr. Arif Ali Mr. Prabhat Kumar Srivastava Ms. Arunima Lala Ms. Ankita Singh ...for the petitioner Mr. Sayan Sinha Mr. Nilanjan Bhattacharya ...for the Municipality The petitioners were successful in a bidding process in response to a tender notice dated February 26, 2016, for "Supply and delivery of DI Pipes within Bongaon Town" under the State of West Bengal for Water Supply Scheme under Bongaon Municipality. It is an admitted position that the petitioners have successfully executed the work order and they have been paid their dues. The only dispute remains with regard to the refund of the security deposit. Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that they made a representation dated June 28, 2023 before the Bongaon Municipality for refund of the security deposit. The municipality has not been considered the said representation till date. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to keep this writ petition pending. I dispose of this writ petition with a direction upon the Chairman,

Bongaon Municipality to consider the representation dated June 28, 2023, in accordance with law and the applicable Government notification within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 21232 of 2023 is disposed of.
