Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Petitioner being an Assistant Teacher of a Government aided school prayed for transfer in prescribed proforma on special ground on 23rd April, 2025.

It is submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that after joining school on 3rd December, 2024 petitioner lost her husband as a result whereof petitioner is staying at a place with her father which situates at 155 kilometres from the school where petitioner is presently working.

It is also submitted that the school authority has

issued "No Objection" on 5th April, 2025 for consideration of her transfer application.

However, school authority is not represented today. 6.

State respondents and West Bengal Central School Service Commission are represented by learned advocates who have jointly submitted as the school authority has issued "No Objection" and forwarded the transfer application to the concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE), Murshidabad being respondent no.6, such transfer application needs to be processed and decided by the concerned respondent authorities.

It is submitted by the Commission that transfer application has reached the office of the Commission in the meantime.

Having considered the respective submissions made on behalf of the parties, Secretary of the Commission being respondent no. 5 is directed to decide the transfer application in accordance with law by four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The decision to be taken by the respondent no.5 shall be communicated to the petitioner by ten days thereafter.

10. The writ petition stands disposed of.

11. There shall be no order as to costs.

12. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned Advocates for the parties on the usual undertakings.
