Petitioner complains that the petitioner is being threatened by the private respondents when the petitioner visits Purba Bardhaman. To that effect, information has been furnished regularly with the police authorities, but the police authorities till date did not take any appropriate steps and petitioner apprehends that the circumstances are created so that the petitioner will be compelled to sell the property.

Be that as it may, petitioner is a lady who is having landed properties at Purba Bardhaman within the jurisdiction of Jamalpur Police Station. In view of the nature of information being furnished to the police authorities, I direct that if the petitioner complains of any obstruction or interference in peaceful enjoyment of her property to the Officer-in-Charge, Jamalpur Police Station, appropriate steps be taken by the concerned police station.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 21406 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
