Mr. Sakti Pada Jana Mr. Subhajyoti Das ......For the Petitioner The matter relates to non-payment of arrear 02.02.

Ct. No.17 pension. The petitioner has relied upon a judgement delivered by this court in WPA 7691 of 2022 (Narayan Chandra Roy Vs. the State of W. B. & Ors.) on 29.11.2022 that the arrear pension should be given following the date of retirement which I accept. Therefore, I direct the concerned District Inspect of Schools (P. E.) and the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance to take immediate steps so that the petitioner can get the arrear pension.

However, the petitioner has submitted that he is not willing to pray any interest thereon and no interest is required to be paid to the petitioner. The arrear pension is to be given to the

petitioner by three months from date of communication of this order.

The writ application is disposed of.
