Perused the order dated 16th April, 2024 passed by the Assistant Engineer, Borough No. VII, Howrah Municipal Corporation wherein unauthorised construction has been detected and direction has been passed for removal of the same.

The person responsible for making construction has preferred a writ petition challenging the reasoned order passed by the Corporation.

The said writ petition being WPA 13135 of 2024 (Asit Kumar Roy & Anr. _v- The Howrah Municipal Corporation & Ors.) is pending consideration before the regular Bench.

It will be open for the petitioner to take necessary steps in the pending writ petition.

As it appears that the order passed by the Court has been substantially complied with, the contempt application stands disposed of.
