09.09.2024 AD-18 Court No.29 TN CRM (A) 3148 of 2024 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 corresponding to Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 filed in connection with Ratua Police Station Case No. 56 of 2020 dated 31.01.2020 under Sections 363/365/34 of the IPC read with Section 25(1-B)(a) of the Arms Act.

Considering the statement of the complainant in which the petitioner has been directly implicated and having regard to the fact that he is absconding for the last four years for which no plausible explanation is offered by the Investigating Officer, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. 3.
