Heard learned advocates appearing for the parties. By this writ petition, petitioner has sought a relief of direction upon the respondents WBGST concerned to release the goods in question claiming to be owned by the petitioner.

Considering the submission of the parties, this writ petition being WPA No.21648 of 2022 is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner make application under the relevant provision of the statute for release of the goods in question before the authority concerned claimed by the petitioner with supporting documents, subject to fulfilment of statutory condition and formalities within three weeks from the date of making such application.
