Allegation in this case has been levelled by syphoning the huge amount of money, i.e., Rs.3.00 crores by the present petitioner who was holding the post of Deputy General Manager of Durgapur Steel Plant. His bail prayer was rejected twice on 6th February, 2025 and lastly on 16th June, 2025. The charge-sheet has been submitted in this case. However, other co-accused is still at large. On behalf of the prosecution an application has been filed for splitting up of the case.

At this stage, considering the allegation which is prima facie serious in nature involving huge amount of money and the trial has not yet been commenced, this Court is not inclined to pass any favourable order to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail stands rejected. 4.
