By this writ petition, petitioner has challenged the impugned order dated 9th June, 2023, passed by the Registrar of Farms Societies & Non-trading Corporation, West Bengal and this writ petition was filed on 30th August, 2023 which is an appellable order under Section 9(3) of the West Bengal Societies Act, 1961.

In view of the availability of alternative remedy by way of statutory appeal, I am not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner except granting liberty to the petitioner to file statutory appeal in accordance with law, within two weeks from date and if such appeal is filed in accordance with law and in proper form, the same shall be considered and disposed of by

the appellate authority in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the interested parties, within 8 weeks from the date of receipt of such appeal.

It is clarified that this Court has not gone into the merit of the case and on the ground of alternative remedy, this writ petition has not been entertained. Accordingly, this writ petition being WPA 21286 of 2023 is disposed of.
