1. The petitioner says that he is in custody for 1 year and 4 months. She has been falsely implicated. She was not named in the First Information Report. The de facto complainant, in her deposition also does not name her as being involved in child trafficking. She prays for bail.

2. Opposing the prayer, learned State advocate draws our attention to the material in the case diary. The implication of the petitioner is on the basis of her own statement pursuant to which the child in question was recovered.

3. We, prima facie, find involvement of the petitioner in the alleged offence of child trafficking. It is a very serious offence. Witness action has already begun. We are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

4. CRM (DB) 2878 of 2024 is dismissed.

5. However, considering the period of detention of the petitioner, we request the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial to the extent possible and conclude the same on an early date. Signed By :
