The grievance raised by the petitioner is in respect of bad condition of the alleged road from Acharyya Para to connected road, Ward No.15 to Ward No.16.

According to the petitioner, the condition of the alleged road is not good and it requires repairs and then one representation dated 29th July, 2022 made to the SDO, Irrigation is pending, which has not been considered till now.

Though the learned counsel for the State has raised the issue that the alleged road is not a public road, and it is a part of the embankment but he has also fairly submitted that if the petitioner files a representation before the Executive Engineer of the Irrigation and Water Ways Department, Purba Medinipur, then their grievance will be duly looked into. Hence, we dispose of the present petition by

granting liberty to the petitioner to file an appropriate representation before the Executive Engineer of the Irrigation and Water Ways Department, Purba Medinipur, who, on receipt of the same, will duly consider the grievance of the petitioner in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The petition is accordingly disposed of.
