1. Having considered the averments made in the application for condonation of delay, delay in preferring the appeal, is condoned.

2. CAN 1 of 2024 is allowed.

3. Appellant has appealed against order dated 25.6.2024 whereby contempt proceedings were dropped. In the said order Hon'ble Single Judge recorded that armed police escorted the appellant to her own residence. In view of such situation the contempt proceeding was dropped. Liberty was given to the appellant to agitate any other grievance before appropriate forum. We find dropping of the contempt proceeding was wholly justified.

4. Under such circumstances we find no merit in the appeal and the same is dismissed.
