Mr. Gobinda Kar ....for the Petitioner Ms. Tanushree Das Gupta ....for ECL In Re: CAN 1 of 2024 This is an application for restoration of the writ petition being WPA 21304 of 2023, which was dismissed for default on 2nd December, 2024. The application for restoration was filed on 9th December, 2024.

Subject to payment of Rs.1,700/- to the High Court Legal Services Committee, and after going through the explanation given, I find that the applicant/writ petitioner was prevented by sufficient cause from appearing before the Court when the matter was taken up and ultimately dismissed for default on 2nd December, 2024.

In such circumstances, the order dated 2nd December, 2024 is hereby recalled.

The writ petition is restored to its original file and number.

Let this matter appear in the "Combined Monthly List" of May, 2025.

CAN 1 of 2024 stands disposed of accordingly. (Arindam Mukherjee, J.)
