The records of the case reflect that the writ petitioner on 22.07.2024 complained and filed a representation before the District Magistrate, South 24 Parganas as well as the Chairman, West Bengal Pollution Control Board in respect of a water-body situated within the

schedule which has been referred to in the writ petition.

I have considered the contents in the writ petition and I direct that the Chairman, West Bengal Pollution Control Board, would dispose of the representation within four weeks from the date of communication of this order and inform the District Magistrate who would take appropriate steps in terms of the order passed by the Chairman, West Bengal Pollution Control Board.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr. K. J. Yusuf, learned Additional Government Pleader, is directed to represent the State.

The learned Addl. Govt. Pleader will communicate this order both to the Chairman, West Bengal Pollution Control Board and the District Magistrate, South 24 Parganas for implementing the order in

terms of the aforesaid directions.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 21929 of 2024 is disposed of.

Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
