The petitioner was suspended after his arrest in connection with FIR No. 287 of 2023 under the provisions of, inter alia, Section 6 of the POCSO Act and Section 376(f)(n) of the IPC. The petitioner has been enlarged on bail. He has applied before the DPSC, Howrah for reinstatement.

On July 24, 2023, the Chairman, DPSC shall consider the petitioner's application in accordance with law and take appropriate decision in the matter, within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
