We have considered the materials on record.

Petitioners assaulted members of public who had objected to their illegal activities i.e. dealing in drugs. Statements of witnesses implicate petitioners in the assault resulting in death. Their bail prayer was rejected earlier on merits. Coaccused are absconding. As a result, proceedings are delayed 3.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.
