1. The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the victim. The victim died due to hanging.

2. We have carefully read the statement of the uncle of the deceased wherefrom it appears that there was a dispute between the husband and his in-laws.

3. Considering the role of the present petitioner in the commission of the alleged offence, we are of the view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not necessary.

4. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner, namely, Asmira Khatun @ Sabera Bibi, shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two registered sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C, 1973 corresponding to Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023 and on further condition that the Signed By :

petitioner shall meet the I.O. following the norms applicable to the female accused as and when required.
