Jana ...for the petitioners Mr. Chandi Charan De Mr. Soumitra Bandyopadhyay Mr. Anirban Sarkar Mr. Priyobrata Batobyal ...for the State Mr. Ayan Banerjee Mr. Suman Banerjee ..for the respondent no.6 It is contended on behalf of the petitioners that in compliance with an order passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court on July 16, 2015 in W.P.No.13976(W) of 2015, the concerned authority paid compensation due to the petitioners. However, the petitioners complain that interest on the awarded amount including 30% solatium and additional compensation @15% per annum have not been paid to them. The petitioners seek liberty to submit a comprehensive representation before the respondent no. 4 in this regard and pray for a direction upon them to consider the said representation at the earliest. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to submit a comprehensive representation before the respondent no. 4 ventilating their grievance within 7 days from date.

The 4th respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation within two months

from the date of receipt thereof after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the affected parties including the petitioners, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioners within a week thereof. With the above observations and directions this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
