Report submitted by the State is taken on record. The petitioner alleges that the private respondents are forcibly cultivating the land owned by the petitioner. The report demonstrates that the private respondents have been cultivating paddy in a portion of the land and the petitioner has been cultivating the remaining portion. The land is admittedly not demarcated. The dispute is civil in nature. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the civil Court for redressal of his grievance. However, since there is a dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents, the police authority shall keep strict vigil over the area and shall ensure that there is no breach of peace and tranquility therein. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
