The writ petitioner complains that his son has assaulted him with an intention to oust the petitioner from the property-in-question.

The Police have taken steps and have detained the private respondents.

Learned counsel for the State submits that there is peace in the area.

Manicktala Police Station shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the family and take steps upon any further complaint of the petitioner. The investigation into the FIR shall be completed as expeditiously as possible.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
