Petitioners complain that they have been subjected to threat and his land is tried to be encroached. To that effect information was furnished before the police authorities.

State has submitted a report which reflects that earlier Magrahat Police Station case no. 141/12 was registered for investigation and charge-sheet has been submitted. Proceedings were also drawn up before the W.B.L.R.T.T., also MAT 1312/17 was preferred which was subsequently dismissed for default. Presently, the police authorities have drawn up proceedings under Sections 126/135 of the BNSS.

Having considered that the police authorities are aware regarding the nature of the dispute relating to the land which is pending for a considerable period of time, I

direct the police authorities to keep surveillance and ensure that there is no violation of law and order and no insecurity faced by the petitioners.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 21537 of 2025 disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to learned advocate appearing for the petitioners.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
