Learned advocate for the petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that an attempt was made to kidnap the son of the petitioner and the petitioner was assaulted for reasons which are best known. Police authorities have already registered a case being Mohanpur P.S. Case No.156 of 2025 dated 05.09.2025.

The present apprehension of the petitioner is that the son of the petitioner who is a student of Class-II may be kidnapped and, as such, is unable to attend the school.

Learned advocate for the State submits that all steps have been taken by the police authorities. There is round the o'clock patrolling in the area, phone number has been made available to the head of the institution of the said school for informing in

respect of any untoward incident so that immediate action can be taken by the police authorities. State has taken steps but the petitioner's anxiety and agony remain, in such circumstances, the petitioner, if required, will approach the learned jurisdictional Magistrate in seisin of Mohanpur P.S. Case No.156 of 2025 dated 05.09.2025. Learned Magistrate will call for a threat perception report and thereafter, if required, pass necessary directions under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 21538 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
