The petitioner alleges that no steps have been taken by the police authorities pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner.

Record reveals that the petitioner approached before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate at Midnapore, Paschim Medinipur being MP No. 18/2024 under Sectioon 156(3) CrPC. The learned CJM by an order dated January 6, 2024 allowed the prayer under Section 156(3) of the CrPC and directed the Officer-in-Charge, Keshpur Police Station to cause investigation into the case by treating the petition of the complainant as an FIR. Thereafter the Keshpur P.S. FIR No. 39/2024 dated January 31, 2024 was registered.

The learned advocate appearing for the State files a report of the Officer-in-Charge, Keshpur Police

Station dated 25th of September, 2024 which is taken on record. After going through the said report, it appears that several raids have been conducted in the house of the FIR named accused but all efforts went in vain. The concerned investigating officer appears to have collected the transaction details of the relevant bank account but no transaction was found in the said account in the name of the complainant. A notice under Section 91 CrPC was served upon the complainant to produce the documents related to his complaint but the complainant did not turn up. In the event the petitioner complies with the notice under Section 91 CrPC, the concerned investigating officer shall take steps to conclude the investigation in accordance with law.

With the above observations and directions the writ petition is disposed of.

However, there will be no order as to costs.
