The petitioner alleges inaction on the part of the police authorities. Record reveals that pursuant to the complaint made by the petitioner, the Parnasree Police Station Case No. 50 dated February 17, 2022 under Sections 420/406 of the IPC was registered and the Chargesheet No. 217 of 2022 dated July 14, 2022 has been filed.

The learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for a direction upon the learned court below for expeditious hearing of the proceeding which is pending before the learned ACJM, Alipore.

Since there is no inaction on the part of the police authorities as chargesheet has already been submitted, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner in this writ petition. The petitioner is, however, left free to approach the

appropriate forum for appropriate reliefs in accordance with law.

With the above observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
