In view of the innocuous nature of the proposed order, service on the private respondent is dispensed with. 2.

The present writ petition has been preferred against an order dated August 12, 2025, whereby the First Bench of the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal postponed MA No. 109 of 2025, an application for expeditious disposal of OA No. 2495 of 2022 (LRTT), to be heard along with main OA.

The next date for hearing has been fixed on June 17, 2026, that is, about ten months after the order. 4.

In view of the nature of the original application, such prolonged adjournment and indefinite pendency is not desired.

Accordingly, WPLRT 150 of 2025 is disposed of by modifying the order dated August 12, 2025, thereby directing the First Bench of the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal to dispose of OA No.

2495 of 2022 (LRTT) by March, 2026, if necessary, by shifting back the dates earlier fixed by the said Bench. 6.

It is deemed that, by this order, MA No. 109 of 2025 stands disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

A server copy of this order shall be served on the private respondent herein by the writ petitioner within a week from date.
