In pursuance to order dated 16th November, 2022, the learned Public Prosecutor-in-Charge has submitted two reports in connection with both the above-numbered criminal revisions. In both the reports, it is stated by the Officer-in-Charge of Shakespeare Sarani Police Station that dispute between the parties has been amicably settled.

It is submitted by the learned Advocates for the petitioners that the dispute between the parties cropped up over property dispute resulting in filing of the above-mentioned criminal cases. In respect of the disputed property, a suit being Civil Suit No.120 of 2020 was disposed of by the Original Side of this Court on the basis of compromise. In the compromise petition (G.A./08/ 2022) the parties have referred that the accused persons of the above-mentioned police cases are at liberty to pray for their discharge in view of settlement of dispute relating to properties. The said joint compromise petition was accepted by this Court having jurisdiction and Civil Suit No.120 of 2020 was disposed of.

On the basis of the settlement arived at in the Civil Suit, the accused persons have filed the above-numbered revisions praying for recording settlement and quashment.

Since dispute between the parties have been amicably settled and allegation levelled against the petitioners in both the cases are not serious in nature, this Court accepts the joint petition for compromise.

Accordingly, both the applications in above-mentioned two revisions are allowed.

Learned Magistrate or the Presiding Officer-in-Charge of the said Court is directed to drop Shakespeare Sarani Police Station Case No.213 of 2018 and 105 of 2022 pending before him in terms of this order within a fortnight from the date of communication of the server copy of this order.

Both the reports be kept in respect of files of the revisional applications.

Consequent upon disposal of the connected applications, the revisional applications are also disposed of. ( Bibek Chaudhuri, J. )
