Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The petitioners allege that the respondent nos. 2 and 3 have not rendered necessary assistance in compliance with the order of injunction passed by the learned Civil Court. Record reveals that the petitioners approached this Court on an earlier occasion for similar reliefs. A co-ordinate Bench of this Court in WPA No. 26224 of 2023 by an order dated December 19, 2023 directed the police authorities to keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place and see that no order of a civil court is violated.

The learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that in spite of the orders passed by the co-ordinate Bench, the police authorities have not taken any steps in that regard.

The learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of this Court to a notice dated August 6, 2024, which is appearing at page 68 of the writ petition, wherefrom it appears that the police authorities asked the petitioners to inform them the period during which they would cultivate the land to enable the police authorities to render assistance in that regard.

The learned Advocate appearing for the State files a report of the Officer-in-Charge of the Pandua Police Station, dated September 11, 2024, which is taken on record. It appears from the said report that as per prior intimation given by the petitioner, the police authorities rendered necessary assistance on August 24, 2024 and with the police assistance, the petitioners cultivated the land-in-question. The report further states that the photographs were also taken showing that the petitioners cultivated the said land on that date. The said incident has also been diarized by Pandua Police Station being GDE No. 2090 dated August 24, 2024. It

appears that the grievance of the petitioners has been sufficiently redressed.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
