Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police authorities on 06.08.2025, no steps have been taken. Petitioner complains of having been locked inside a room by illegal trespassers. Additionally, he was physically assaulted, attacked and the CCTV camera of the school was taken away. Petitioner claims to be Teacher-in-Charge, of Dayapur P.C. Sen High School. Report submitted by the State reflects on the basis of such information which occurred on 04.08.2025 Sundarban Coastal Police Station case no. 229/25 dated 20.08.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS. It is also pointed out in the report submitted by the State that another counter case has been registered at the behest of one Shanti Ranjan Mondal being Sundarban Coastal PS case no. 228/25 dated 20.08.2025. Report of the State also reflects regarding the communication made between the

District Education Officer and the District Inspector of School.

Be that as it may, since the limited purpose for which the present petitioner has approached this Court for inaction in respect of the incident complained of on 04.08.2025, I am of the view that the police authorities have taken steps. Police authorities are directed to take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion by put in efforts.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 21621 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
