The public prosecutor conducting the case will proceed with the certified copy of the case diary. Let the trial proceed for the time being. It would be for the learned trial court to assess regarding the viability of the evidence at the end of the trial. The application under Section 227 of the Code of Criminal Procedure or the discharge application which has been preferred by the petitioner be disposed of within four weeks from the next date so fixed by the learned trial court. If the learned trial court proposes to proceed with the trial of the case, in that case it will fix one date in a month so that the trial of the case can be concluded within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 3596 of 2022 is disposed of.
