Anwesha Pattanayak Mr. Kaushik Dey, Mr. Debdipto Banerjee ... For the petitioner. The instant application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is arising out of a proceeding under Section 20 of the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956.

The learned Trial Judge by the order No. 1 dated June 03, 2024 has allowed an application under Order XXXIII Rule 1 of the Code of Civil Procedure thereby permitting the opposite party to file the connected suit without paying the ad valorem Court fees and by the Order No. 2 dated June 06, 2024 has granted a sum of Rs. 4,000/- per month to the opposite party on account of maintenance.

The said orders are under challenge in the present revisional application.

The petitioner is the father of the opposite party, as such is morally and legally obliged to maintain her unmarried daughter. The orders impugned, for the aforesaid reason, do not call for any interference.

C.O. 3144 of 2024 is dismissed without any order as to costs. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
