Masudur Rahaman Paik ...for the Petitioner Dr. Madhusudan Saha Roy ...for CESC 03-09-2025 AKG Ct. 15 The petitioner alleges that the Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation (CESC) failed to provide an industrial electricity connection at the petitioner's premises located at 465, Trenching Ground Road, P.O. Agarpara, P.S. Khardah, North 24 Parganas, PIN - 700109.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of CESC submits that, pursuant to the petitioner's application, an inspection was conducted at the stated premises. However, no industrial activity was found at the location. It is further submitted that the petitioner failed to furnish the requisite documents as mandated under Clause 3.2 of the Memo No. 46/WBERC dated May 31, 2010 issued by the West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission.

The petitioner has not produced any material before this Court to indicate compliance with the said regulations in making the application for the industrial electricity connection.

In view of the above, WPA 22088 of 2024 is hereby

dismissed.
