The petitioner complains that her husband tortures her. She lives with her mother away from the husband.

Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions issued by the Inspector-in-Charge, Baguiati Police Station dated 6th April, 2023 addressed to the learned Government Pleader and the same is taken on record.

It appears that Baguiati Police has registered a FIR being Baguiati Police Station Case No.419/2022 dated 23rd September, 2022 and investigation has been completed and charge sheet No.464/2022 dated 31st October, 2022 under section 498A, 406 of the IPC has been filed.

Baguiati Police shall, however, ensure that the private respondent has not intimidated the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
