Case No.59 of 2023 dated 12.02.2023 under Sections 498A/304B/306/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3/4 D.P. Act (G.R. Case No.342 of 2023).

1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioners are mother-in-law and other family members of the in-laws of the deceased who admittedly committed suicide.

3. The witnesses are found to have stated that the husband and other family members were harassing and torturing the deceased for fulfilment of additional demand of dowry. Such allegations against the present petitioners are at the fringe and we find no immediate cause to which the present petitioners contributed for commission of suicide by the deceased.

4. Regard being had to such facts and submissions, factum of permanent residence of the petitioners, nature of

allegation, nature of evidence and substantial progress in investigation, it is directed that each of the petitioner shall be released on bail by the Arresting Officer in the event of their arrest in the G.R. Case No.342 of 2023 arising out of the aforesaid P.S. case on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case including the condition: i) The petitioners being ladies are directed to appear before the IO for the purpose of investigation as and when required from sunrise to sunset.

5. Accordingly, the prayer for the anticipatory bail is allowed.

6. Within 21 days from today petitioners are directed to appear before the I.O. along with a server copy or certified copy of this order.

7. The applications being CRM(A) 3940 of 2023 is disposed of.

8. The Arresting Officer is hereby directed to act upon the server copy or certified copy of this order.
