4 to 6 This writ petition was filed challenging the admission process of the respondent no.4. Subsequently, the petitioner secured his rank and received admission in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination as informed to this Court by Mr. Pratip Kr. Chatterjee, learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further informed to this Court on instruction from his client that the petitioner is no more interested to proceed with this writ petition.

Mr. Chatterjee, learned counsel for the petitioner also submitted that the petitioner had paid all the necessary course fees and admission fees. The petitioner had also paid additionally a sum of Rs.5000/- (Rupees five thousand) on account of the college uniform. The

substantial amount which was paid on account of admission fees and course fees had already been returned to the petitioner and the same had already been received by the petitioner. The petitioner claims return of Rs.5000/-(Rupees five thousand) paid on account of the college uniform.

Considering above this writ petition, WPA 21848 of 2022 stands dismissed for non-prosecution. However, the respondent no.4 is directed to pay a sum of Rs.5000/-(Rupees five thousand) in favour of the Legal Services Authority, West Bengal on or before November 10, 2022 from date, to which the petitioner had also agreed to.
