It is submitted by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Jhalda, Purulia that proceedings under Section 107 of the Cr. P. C. has been taken out against the petitioner and the private respondent. It is further submitted that the concerned BL & LRO has recommended the cancellation and annulment of the petitioner's patta since the same is forest land. Let a copy of the report be made available to the counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner may take appropriate steps in accordance with law. There is no inaction on the part of the police.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
