The grievance of the petitioner pertains to nonpayment of compensation in respect of an alleged acquisition of her land.
Mr. De appearing on behalf of the State respondents submits that he has no objection if the representation of the petitioner dated 4th February, 2019 be considered by the office of the respondent No.3.
In view of the submissions made on behalf of the State respondents, the respondent No.3 is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner appearing at Annexure P-4 of the writ petition within a period of eight weeks from date after giving a right of hearing to all the parties from the date of communication of this order.
I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of this case and the respondent No.3 is at liberty to consider and dispose of the representation without being influenced by this order.
With the aforesaid directions, WPA 19722 of 2019 is disposed of.
However, there will be no order as to costs.
The respondent No.3 is directed to communicate the final decision on the representation of the petitioner to the Advocates appearing on behalf of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from taking a final decision. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
