The petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which his objection against unauthorized construction has been dealt with by the concerned authority. The authority has proceeded to regularize the unauthorized construction upon payment of necessary charges.

The order of regularization is an appealable one. The legality and validity of the said order cannot be adjudicated in the contempt proceeding.

In view of the above, the contempt application is disposed of.

It will be open for the petitioner to challenge the order of regularization before the competent forum in accordance with law, if so advised.
