1. The petitioner submits that the Executive Engineer, P.W.D. Birbhum Electrical Division, Suri has issued provisional work order to the petitioner on 18th March, 2021. As per the work order issued by the authorities, the petitioner has completed the work and raised the bill for a total amount of Rs. 34,73, 190/-, out of total amount, the respondents have paid part payment of Rs. 5,89,000/- and the rest amount is due. The petitioner has made a representation to the authorities but till date the representation of the petitioner has not been considered.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner prays for an order directing the respondents for consideration of

the representation of the petitioner dated 18th March, 2025 and for release of the payment.

3. Learned counsel for the State submitted that if a direction is passed, the authorities will consider the representation.

4. Having heard the learned counsel for the respective parties and considering the materials on record, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No.8 to consider the representation of the petitioner within six weeks from the date of receipt of this order and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled to get the amount, amount shall be released within a period of two weeks thereafter and if it is found that the petitioner is not entitled, a reasoned and speaking order shall be passed and to communicate the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, WPA 21778 of 2025 is disposed of.

6. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

7. Urgent Photostat certified copy, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with all formalities. (Krishna Rao, J.)
