Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Petitioner complains that he is a senior citizen who runs a sawmill. However, the petitioner is feeling insecured only for the reason that his son is being implicated in criminal cases. The petitioner claims that his son has been falsely implicated. State has submitted a report which reflects that Baruipur P.S. Case No. 1508 of 2025, Baruipur P.S. Case No. 965 of 2025, Baruipur P.S. Case No. 966 of 2025 and Magrahat P.S. Case No. 204 of 2025 are pending. The report also reflects that the offences referred to therein were committed in a brutal manner and the victim is suffering from mental trauma.

Be that as it may, since the issue is relating to said Tridip Roy being the son of the petitioner, police authorities obviously would take steps in accordance with law so far as the said individual is

concerned. So far as the petitioner is concerned, if there is no case against the petitioner, petitioner cannot be restrained from carrying out his regular business activities.

Police authorities would ensure that if there is no violation of law, petitioner be allowed to carry on his business.

Police authorities would keep a strict vigil to ensure that there is no violation of any law and order.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 21700 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
